Dr. Sharon T. Hinton (She/Her) is an award-winning author, educator, and the founder of PepTalk Productions, LLC. Certified in both non-fiction book publishing and book marketing, she has extensive experience in non-profit leadership including national and international presentation, course, and curriculum creation and revision.

 

Dr. Hinton has won several awards for her short stories, non-fiction essays, and Christian devotions. She has also published multiple books, journal workbooks, peer-reviewed articles, and book chapters on a variety of subjects including stories in three Chicken Soup for the Soul books. She was the author of the Nursing in the Church column for The Journal of Christian Nursing for ten years. She has served as the managing editor for several non-fiction projects, book coach for the award-winning Strange Space Adventures book series, and serves as a judge for the Non-Fiction Authors Association book awards.

Dr. Hinton has traveled extensively and claims both the mountains of East Tennessee and the high plains of Northwest Texas as home. She is an avid reader and enjoys exploring museums, zoos with tiger exhibits, and second-hand bookstores.
