Basic Mentoring Package for Short-Term Writing Projects

Our Basic Mentoring Package is designed to guide you from idea to manuscript draft as we encourage you to strengthen your writing, boost your confidence, and prepare your work for submission for publication.​

In this three-week program, you will receive personalized support and encouragement alongside guidance on your writing's structure, flow, and style. We'll also help with basic proofreading, ensuring your project is as polished and complete as possible. While we can't guarantee publication, we can promise expert mentorship to help your work stand out when you submit it.

    A 30-minute individual session to discuss your project, goals, and specific challenges. You'll leave this session with clear next steps and insights into how to strengthen your writing and move your project forward. 
    Email access to your mentor. (Note: Responses may take up to 24 hours.)
     

  • Collaborative Learning
    One group session each week, where you'll receive additional feedback, share ideas, and gain support from a community of fellow writers.
     

  • Targeted Revision
    Guidance on the structure, flow, and readability of your manuscript, with basic proofreading to ensure your work is polished and professional

Add 3 weeks to your basic writing mentoring package to explore submission possibilities and polish your draft to fit submission guidelines. While we can't guarantee publication, we can promise expert mentorship to help your work meet submission guidelines.

    A 30-minute individual session during week one to discuss your project, submission goals, and next steps.

  • Collaborative Learning
    One group session each week where you'll receive additional feedback from other writers working on similar projects
     

  • Focus on the Submission Process
    Guidance on selecting where to submit your writing, understanding the submission process and submission guidelines, common mistakes to avoid, cover letters, forms, and a developmental edit of your work.
